Here it is everyone, I have FINALLY managed to create a lovely waffle recipe!!
Like my pancake recipe, this took a while, but my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole testing and tasting process! Along with finding the perfect recipe, a good waffle maker helps too. Thicker waffles (in my humble opinion) are far superior to their slimmer friend as they allow you a crispy edge and a fluffy centre which is the ideal way to enjoy a waffle (once again in my humble opinion!)
I've also got to mention here about the sugar... it's not a lot over approx. 8 waffles but it's necessary to add the crispy texture on the outside. And speaking of crispy outsides, pop a tray in the oven on low to keep all your cooked waffles warm and crispy while you cook the remaining batter!
And if I still have your attention and you haven't jumped straight to the recipe, a slightly lumpy batter will guarantee you the BEST waffles!
