Hummus!

If you or your family are anything like mine, you'll be going through copious amounts of the stuff every week and it can get quite expensive! I decided it was time to start making my own and I haven't looked back!


Boiling these is definitely the most important step, you want all those skins on the chickpeas to be lifted off and discarded before blending!

(half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in the water will really help this!)


This keeps in the fridge for about 5 days and I really recommend having a drizzle of olive oil on the top to stop it drying out in the fridge!
