If you like pesto I urge you to make this! It's far superior to all the jars and honestly it's delicious! It took me a while to get the recipe just right and not once did the family complain about being fed this for 3 weeks solid which I think is a pretty good indicator of how delicious it is! The recipe is petty adaptable to suit how you like it but I think this is the perfect balance...just not too much seasoning as the Parmesan can be quite salty!
This makes about 6 servings if it's being poured over pasta and any left overs keep well in the fridge for up to a week.
As for the basil, you pretty much need the whole of a large pot that you can get in any supermarket and I do mean the whole thing. Stalks and all!
