Dried Oranges

I make these every year and always get asked how I make them! They are super simple and can be used in so many ways. I always have them hung as a garland over the fireplace by threading a piece of string through the length of them or in a bowl with pine cones. They subtly make the room smell wonderful! This year I might even hang a loop of string through them and use them as Christmas tree decorations! If fully dried and stored in a cook, dark place they will last a few years!

To save money on energy, you can pop your oranges in the oven after you've cooked dinner and they will dry out in the residual heat!
