Cheese and Onion Scones

I dedicate this recipe to my Daddyo because they are his favourite and I type this with pure guilt as I made a batch to photograph for this recipe and I didnt tell him about them and share them with him!


These can also be made in little rounds as opposed to one big scone. Just reduce the cooking time by approx 15 mins and half the recipe unless you want loads of little scones.


Tips - A preheated baking tray will help scones rise. Freeze your butter and grate into your flour to help you in the rubbing together stage. If you are making individual scones, flour your cutter well and don't twist it when pulling it out as this will affect the rise!
